The Hotel Tossal d’Altea is a charming hotel located in a former olive oil mill in Altea, dating back to the mid-19th century. This traditional building has been restored and was once a farmhouse on an estate of olive, almond, and carob trees known as “Almàssera de Guillem” (named after the original owner, Guillermo Lledó Berdín).
Located less than 500 m from the popular Old Town (an Asset of Cultural Interest), our family-run hotel is committed to the local and preserves the atmosphere of times past. We wish to transport you to the rural Altea that defends the historical values and the memory of our ancestors.

Our gastronomic space, located in a historic mid-19th century olive mill, combines rustic design and modernity, preserving original elements that reflect our local identity and commitment to respecting traditions.

A charming hotel in the heart of Altea
Hotel Tossal d’Altea is located in a rural setting 200 m from Palau Altea Centre d’Arts (theater, concert, and exhibition venue) and 500 m from the Old Town. Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, the popular Old Town has in its center the parish church, with its bell tower and a beautiful dome covered with blue and white glazed ceramic tiles. Around it, old houses with white facades, cobbled and stepped streets, viewpoints overlooking the bay, roundabouts, squares, bars and wooden gates, geraniums and jasmines.
Altea is a unique town that has the charm of the seafaring tradition, the culture of numerous painters and artists, and the Mediterranean gastronomy that revolves around rice dishes, fresh products, and traditional stews.
